Mixed Two Ball

The tournament will be modified Foursome Stroke Play with SELECTIVE DRIVES and ALTERNATE SHOTS thereafter.

The tournament is open to amateurs who are residents of Maryland or members of member clubs of the MSGA.  Each team consists of a man and a woman, not necessarily from the same club. No entries with a combined USGA INDEX above 36.0 as of June 15, 2009 will be accepted.  If the difference between a team's two indexes exceeds 10.0 the team may only compete for a gross prize. If a player does not have an IGN Number, he/she must provide valid proof of handicap.

1.   Entries open on June 17, 2009 and a properly completed application and entry fee of $160.00 (per team) must be submitted to

                                  the MSGA office by 5:00 PM on July 17, 2009.  Cart fee and range balls are included in entry fee. Make checks payable to  

                                  the MSGA-WD.  Checks must be for this event only.  The field will be limited to 90 teams.  NO REFUNDS AFTER JULY   

                                  23, 2009.

2.   ENTRIES DATED AFTER JULY 17, 2009 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  ENTRIES MAY BE REFUSED BY THE MSGA

         WD OR HOST CLUB AT ANY TIME. 

        3.    PROPER ATTIRE REQUIRED.  For more information about the dress code policy, please visit the MSGA website at  

      www.msga.org.  DRESS CODE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

4.    The MSGA-WD Officer-in-Charge shall assign pairings and starting times.

      5.    Starting times and pairings will be available on July 24, 2009.  They will be sent to participants via email.  Additionally, they will be posted on

the MSGA website and they may be obtained by calling host club’s Pro Shop at 410-561-3381.

Merchandise prizes will be awarded for both low gross and low net. The number of net prizes is dependent upon the size of the field. All merchandise certificates are redeemable at the host club’s Pro Shop and must be redeemed prior to 12/31/09.
