USGA Rules will govern all play, except as modified by local rules. If a player elects to withdraw from the tournament, she must promptly notify the MSGA-WD Officer-in-Charge. This is to ensure an alternate a fair opportunity to play. All participants should arrive at the first tee no later than 5 minutes prior to the participant’s appointed starting time. The MSGA-WD will institute the local rule, outlined in Appendix I in The Rules of Golf, permitting the use of rangefinders in the Mid-Amateur Championship. |
