41st Senior Women's Amateur

The tournament will be 36-hole stroke play in divisions according to age.

This tournament is open to female amateur golfers who are residents of Maryland or are members of member clubs of the MSGA with a USGA INDEX of 30.0 or less as of June 15, 2009 and who have reached their 50th birthday by midnight of the first day of play.

1.        Entries open on July 6, 2009 and a properly completed application and entry fee of $120.00 must be submitted to the MSGA office by 5:00 PM on August 6, 2009.  Cart fees and range balls are included in the entry fee.  Make checks payable to MSGA-WD.  Checks must be for this event only.  NO REFUNDS AFTER August 10, 2009.  

2.        Applications must include a USGA Index as of July 1, 2009.

3.        ENTRIES DATED AFTER AUGUST 6, 2009 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  ENTRIES MAY BE REFUSED BY THE MSGA-WD OR HOST CLUB AT ANY TIME.

4.        PROPER ATTIRE REQUIRED. For more information about the dress code policy, please visit the MSGA website at www.msga.org.  DRESS CODE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

5.        The MSGA-WD Officer- in- Charge shall assign pairings and starting times.

6.        Starting times and pairings will be available on August 10, 2009.  They will be sent to participants via email. Additionally, they will be posted on the MSGA website and they may be obtained by calling the Holly Hills Pro Shop at 301-694-7210.

The winner will be the low gross score of the field and the Champion will have her name engraved on the permanent MSGA Trophy. Gross prizes and net prizes will be awarded within each age division.  In the event of a tie for overall low gross, a hole-by-hole play-off will follow immediately upon the completion of play.  Ties for any other prizes will be resolved by a match of cards according to the USGA recommended method.
