32nd Junior Girl's Amateur

COMPETITION:  USGA Rules govern, except as modified by local rules.  The Championship will be a 36-hole stroke-play competition (two 18-hole rounds) played in age divisions 16-17, 14-15 and 13 & Under.  Applicants who are ages 9-11 may opt to play in a separate “9-Hole Division”, an 18-hole stroke-play competition (two 9-hole rounds).  The Champion will be the low gross score of the field.  In addition, the winner of each division will be determined by the low gross score within the division.  In the event of a tie for the championship or any division, there will be a hole-by-hole play-off at the conclusion of play.  Ties for any other prizes will be resolved by a match of cards according to the USGA recommended method.

IMPORTANT: ENTRY FEE MUST ACCOMPANY THIS FORM.  THE CHECK SENT SHOULD BE FOR THIS EVENT ONLY. ENTRIES OPEN ON MAY 17, 2008.  ENTRIES RECEIVED PRIOR TO THIS DATE WILL BE RETURNED.  NO FAX ENTRIES ACCEPTED.  ENTRIES CLOSE ON JUNE 11, 2008.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the overall Champion and Runner-up and to the winners and runners-up in each division.  The Champion will have her named engraved on the permanent MSGA trophy.  Scholarship money will be awarded to the overall Champion and Runner-up and to the winners in each age division in the Championship.
